The Flood Brothers
Punta Gorda Indie Folk Punk
The Flood Brothers are a Southwest Florida band built on collaboration, chemistry, and a shared love of live music. Blending indie folk, country, Americana, reggae, psychedelic rock, jam band improvisation, and classic rock influences, the group creates a sound that feels fresh, organic, and uniquely their own. Every member contributes vocally and musically, giving the band a rich, layered sound full of personality and heart.
Matt Krause, originally from Michigan, plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and piano, bringing indie folk and country influences into the mix. Corey Planck plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and mandolin, drawing inspiration from Americana, reggae, jam bands, and psychedelic music. Antonio Barros adds groove and soul on bass and ukulele, with a love for reggae rhythms and slow rock classics that shape the band’s laid-back feel. Behind the kit, Storm brings explosive energy and jazz expertise as an accomplished drummer and drum teacher whose musicianship elevates every performance.
What truly makes The Flood Brothers stand out is the way each member’s musical style blends together naturally. Matt, Corey, and Antonio all share vocal duties, trading lead vocals and building harmonies that give the band its signature sound. Even when performing cover songs, The Flood Brothers make every arrangement their own by mixing each member’s influences and flavors into the music.
Whether playing intimate acoustic sets, packed bars, private events, festivals, or waterfront venues, The Flood Brothers deliver an authentic live experience rooted in musicianship, connection, and the joy of making music together.
